Registration:

Rates:

  • Deposit per conferee (non-refundable): $100

  • Conference Registration Fee (higher after January 31) - Adult: $340; Children and Youth: $290

  • Food Cost: $95

  • Fairshare (Lodging and Transportation): 15 hours or $150. See below for fundraising opportunities.

Cancellation Policy:

Registration fees are paid by FPC to PAM by January 11th. PAM will refund all but $50 of registration fees to the church up to April 30th. Starting May 1st, conferees will be responsible to pay the registration fee and $150 or 15 hours of fairshare, as PAM will not issue refunds to the church. Montreat Fundraising Events 2023-2024:

  • Homecoming Parade Parking (Friday, October 6, 9 a.m.)

  • Downtown Arts Festival Parking (Saturday, November 18, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday, November 19, 12 p.m.)

  • Sweetie Pies (Fridays and Saturdays from September 29-November 18, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) - Coordinators: Carol Israel and Troy Bleeker

  • Christmas Table (Sunday, December 3, 10, and 17) - Coordinator: Laura Netardus

  • Noteworthy Sponsor (Sunday, April 14, 2024 - Sunday, May 5, 2024)

Forms to Submit:

       Our business manager will notarize the health form. **If your Montreator is bringing any

       medication (including over the counter), you must speak with the house parent and

       Mitch.

Checks to Submit:

(Due by May 31st to Mitch)

  • Check payable to Carol Israel for your food and t-shirt expenses in the amount of $95

  • Second check payable to First Presbyterian Church for the balance of the registration fee.

  • If you do not complete 15 hours of Montreat Fundraising, check payable to First Presbyterian Church for $150.

Additional Information:

Packing List

  • We leave Saturday, June 15 at 7:00 a.m. sharp. Please arrive at the church no later than 6:15 a.m.

  • You will need to bring health snacks, a bag lunch, and drink for the journey north. Coolers will be provided.

  • Space will be tight in the charter bus so please pack lightly. We encourage the use of duffle bags. What doesn't fit under the bus might occupy the space where you are sitting! Please mark your luggage with your child's name.

  • On Sunday, June 9 at 11 a.m., worship will include a dedication of Montreat Worship and Music conferees. Please plan on attending and wearing any Montreat t-shirt.

  • We will return to Gainesville on Saturday, June 22 no earlier than 4:00 p.m.

  • Your child may bring some spending money to use during the week at the convenience store that sells snacks and souvenirs. If you have any concerns about your child's budgeting skills the house parent is willing to hold your child's money.

  • If you are ill or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 the week of June 9-15, please take a COVID test. Those who test positive will need to stay home.
