About the event

The University of Florida Symphony Orchestra presents Origins.  Join the UFSO for this off-campus reprise of its first concert of the 2022-2023 season, in a program that pays homage to home and hearth in the land of orchestral music. The concert includes Ravel's "Mother Goose" Suite (Ma mère l'Oye) and selections from Dvořák's Symphony No. 6 in D major, Op. 60. A free-will offering will be received to benefit Ukrainian Humanitarian Relief. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Under the direction of Tiffany Lu, the University of Florida Symphony Orchestra performs a wide variety of orchestral repertoire, including traditional orchestral and choral masterworks, ballets and operas, as well as contemporary compositions.  It is dedicated to the learning of symphonic music through performance and is equally committed to the promotion of new and contemporary works as well as overlooked works from the past.
